Sex addiction

Dr. Michael Ian Rothenberg, one of the world's first psychotherapists to dedicate a practice to understanding the relationship between sexuality, the internet and social media, employs a unique approach to address the factors that can trigger out of control sexual behaviors. As an internationally recognized leader in the field of sexuality and counseling for individuals, couples and families, Dr. Rothenberg has successfully helped countless people to better understand the challenges they face and to gain a more concrete understanding of the roots of their sexual behavior.

Dr. Michael Ian Rothenberg specializes in helping men with erectile dysfunction and non-physiological sexual performance issues to reduce their performance anxiety and their dependence upon masturbation and pornography. Dr. Rothenberg has helped countless individuals and  couples to enjoy their sexuality and to start living happier lives.

We are all sexual beings and our sexuality is, very often, a concern for individuals in both health and in illness. Sometimes we’re uncomfortable, embarrassed or even too shy to discuss our sexual concerns with medical professionals and it might even appear that some medical professionals are, sometimes, uncomfortable discussing our  sexual concerns with us.

Dr. Rothenberg provides specialized counseling for patients and caregivers who have questions about their illness, sex and sexuality. His open, non-judgmental style puts people at ease and helps them to feel comfortable discussing topics that are, in fact, sometimes hard to talk about.
